"Seva" is a Sanskrit word for service. Our motto is the translation of our name, "yoga through service." Our mission is to bring yoga and meditation to those who need it most: people living in underserved communities where day-to-day life is most stressful. In addition, our profits are donated to organizations that work in and serve these same communities.
While some of our workshops and one-on-one services will have a fixed fee, our weekly yoga classes will always be donation-based. Donate what you can, if you can. You can always register for these classes for free as well. Sometimes we have resources to help others, sometimes we need the help ourselves. Money should never be a barrier to the beautiful practices of yoga and meditation.
I invite you to join us on our journey as we grow and serve. If you have questions, comments, or suggestions, fell free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
